Offering online therapy for adults in Texas, Ohio, and Michigan with in-person services in Austin, Texas coming soon.
At the heart of my work is this:
We are designed for relationship.
We are wounded in relationship, and we are healed in relationship. The most important relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself.
Sometimes, in an effort to preserve connection with others, we lose ourselves. We adapt. We override our needs. We become who we believe we need to be in order to stay connected with others.
Healing is not about becoming someone new, it’s about returning to who you’ve always been. Therapy becomes a space to move from self-abandonment back to alignment with who you truly are, so you can show up in your relationships without losing yourself in the process.
You’re Not Broken — You’re Human
People often reach out when anxiety feels constant or emotions feel overwhelming. Many find themselves over-functioning in relationships, giving more than they receive, managing everyone else’s feelings, and feeling resentful or exhausted as a result.
You may be navigating a life transition, chronic stress, or repeating relationship patterns. When stress builds, it doesn’t just live in your thoughts, it shows up emotionally and physically.
Therapy becomes a place to slow things down, understand the protective patterns underneath, and begin responding from a steadier, more self-led place.
You might recognize yourself in some of these experiences:
Feeling responsible for the emotional tone of your relationships
Racing thoughts or difficulty shutting your mind off
A recent breakup, relationship strain, or ongoing conflict
Feeling like you give more than you get in relationships
People-pleasing, overthinking, or second-guessing yourself
“Losing your patience” or feeling more angry than you want to be
Relationship anxiety or obsessive worries about your relationship
Feeling disconnected from yourself or others
My Approach
Hi, I’m Kelley Kramer,
My approach to therapy is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I work with adults who want to better understand themselves, develop emotional regulation, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and mind-body practices.
Our work focuses on understanding what’s happening inside, building emotional regulation and self-compassion, and developing practical tools you can use in daily life.
Faith and Spirituality
When meaningful to you, I thoughtfully integrate spirituality into therapy in a way that is respectful, client-led, and aligned with your values.
Taking the First Step
Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating. It can be a place to slow down, feel understood, and reconnect with yourself.
If you’re wondering whether we might be a good fit, I’d weclome the opportunity to connect.
